HFL Series Plastic Cage Assemblies for One-Way Clutches with Integrated Bearing Supports

HFL Series plastic cage assemblies are designed for one-way bearing and clutch assemblies with integrated bearing supports. The three-piece cage assembly consists of a large-end cage, center cage and small-end cage. These components position, separate and guide the locking rolling elements, associated spring elements and supporting rolling elements on both sides. Products can be customized according to customer drawings, approved samples and specific assembly requirements.

01Series introduction

Series scope and application.

HFL Series plastic cage assemblies are primarily used in one-way bearing and clutch assemblies with integrated radial bearing supports. The complete structure combines one-way locking and radial support functions within a compact installation space.

The series generally uses a three-piece cage configuration consisting of a large-end cage, center cage and small-end cage. The center cage generally positions and guides the locking rolling elements and associated spring elements, while the cages at both ends position and guide the supporting rolling elements. The actual configuration is determined according to the customer drawing or approved sample.

The cages used in different positions may have different pocket quantities, rolling-element types, rolling-element quantities and rolling-element specifications. Because some customers do not strictly distinguish between HF and HFL designations in everyday communication, the applicable series must be verified according to the actual product structure during project development.
