Materials & customisation
Material selection considers pocket stability, molding of the angled geometry and the operating environment. A material grade is confirmed against the project requirements.
Choose from the nylon materials below for your cage design and operating conditions. The specific resin grade is agreed for the project.

Design requirements
- Rolling-element geometry
- Specify the rolling-element type and dimensions before discussing the cage structure.
- Contact and mounting
- Provide the contact angle, pocket orientation, cage envelope and mounting direction.
- Working conditions
- Describe loading, speed, temperature, lubrication and assembly clearances.
